Vestcom International Inc. has signed a lease for four suites totaling more than 37,000 SF in the One Cantrell building at 2800 Cantrell Road in Little Rock.

The Little Rock in-store marketing technologies provider is moving its headquarters from 7302 Kanis Road. The company, whose clients include Kroger, Safeway/Albertsons, Pet Smart and Walgreens, plans to move to Riverdale by the third quarter of the year.

Vestcom ranked No. 40 on Arkansas Business’most recent list of the state’s largest private companies. It has about 700 employees, 350 of them in Arkansas.

Colliers International Arkansas and Irwin Partners, both of Little Rock, jointly represented One Cantrell’s landlord in the deal. Marshall Saviers and Mark Saviers of Sage Partners represented Vestcom. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Isaac Smith, Colliers International Arkansas’ principal and executive vice president, said the building is one of the last large office spaces available in this area.

Built in 1985 as the corporate headquarters for Fairfield Communities Inc., the five-story building has 67,617 SF of leasable space. Tenants include BancorpSouth, the publicly traded bank holding company based in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The building’s owner is One Cantrell Properties LLC, led by Kenneth McRae IV. One Cantrell Properties bought the 3.3-acre development for $3.4 million nearly in 1995 from The Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York. Mutual Life purchased it in October 1991 as part of Fairfield’s Chapter 11 reorganization.
