Tom Allen, CCIM
Tom Allen works with corporate, private and public clients in many phases of the commercial real estate industry. He is the primary contact for the Hunt Ventures commercial real estate portfolio in Northwest Arkansas where he is responsible for the development, leasing, sales, acquisition and management of all Hunt Ventures office and retail properties. In addition, Tom works with clients from a broad spectrum of individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Tom began his commercial real estate career in 1998 as a Real Estate Manager with Walmart where he led a team to identify new sites for Supercenters, Sam’s Clubs and Neighborhood Markets. In this role, Scott is responsible for a team totaling over 35 employees and the management and leasing of over 4.3 million SF of primarily office, retail and medical facilities with offices in Northwest Arkansas and Little Rock. Sage Partners is a leading third-party provider of leasing, property management, and project management services with a portfolio totaling over $500 million in value. Additionally, Scott works with investors to assist them with evaluating, structuring, and capitalizing investments in real estate and other activities.
Scott’s background included a successful career as a CPA in public accounting as a partner with the international accounting firms of PKF and Coopers & Lybrand, followed by a move to the private sector to utilize my financial skills and experience as CFO and entrepreneur.
Utilizing the experience gained in public accounting and manufacturing, Scott turned his career to the start-up world where he was part of a team that launched an asset management business for aviation parts that serviced commercial airlines on a global basis. The experiences learned here were a catalyst for starting an asset management practice in commercial real estate.
After spending the majority of his career in Houston and Memphis, Scott returned to his childhood home of Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 2014, Scott joined Sage Partners with the mission to expand their brokerage business practice by starting an Asset Services division, including property management, building maintenance, and property accounting.
