BNSF Logistics will celebrate on Thursday the official opening of its new, 30,000-SF domestic headquarters in Springdale.
The building is located at 2710 S. 48th St., near Arvest Ballpark, the Tyson Recreational Complex and the site of the new Arkansas Children’s Hospital campus. The headquarters will employ 185 people with capacity to eventually support 225 or more. Crawford Construction of Fayetteville handled the project.
“We are thrilled with our new space and excited to be part of this growing area,” said Dan Curtis, COO of BNSFL. “This top-notch facility and prime location will help our team continue to provide the reliable, efficient service our customers have come to expect.”
BNSFL is an international, multi-modal logistics service provider with 40 offices throughout North America. Its Springdale operations will focus on trucking and rail services.
The space is also home for the company’s corporate information technology and human resources employees. BNSFL’s Springdale group previously worked from two separate locations on South Thompson Street.
BNSFL worked with local commercial real estate firm Sage Partners to select and acquire the space.
