Our Story

Brian Shaw, Mark Saviers, and Tommy VanZandt built their real estate experience in markets like Dallas, Chicago, Denver, and New Orleans. As they each returned home in the early 2000s, they saw that Arkansas was a growing, vibrant market that needed the expertise, professionalism, and talent of a truly world-class commercial real estate firm. Together they formed Sage Partners in 2005.

From the first handshake, the partners knew that the foundation of their company was going to be its culture and people. Sage Partners has experienced steady, sustainable growth thanks to a culture of growing our business by growing our people. Our current leadership team includes experts in asset management, lease management, commercial development, and real estate valuation.

Sage Partners is a team environment, where the client and the team both benefit from multiple eyes on a project and the availability of more than one expert to answer questions, solve problems, and innovate solutions.

Every member of the Sage Partners team is active in the community, from volunteering for local charity organizations to serving as elected members of city and county leadership. Our ties to the community run deep, and we believe that our impact on the community, both in our professional and personal capacities, needs to be positive, productive, and responsible.

In 2018, Sage Partners joined Cushman & Wakefield as an Alliance firm, forming Cushman & Wakefield | Sage Partners. Our company remains solely owned and operated by local partners, with the added benefit both to us and to our clients that we have integrated our strengths of local talent, relationships, and market intelligence with the full international capacity of Cushman & Wakefield’s resources and platform.
