New Tenants Expected at Pleasant Crossing Commons
Matt Sitton of The Sitton Group said he expects to have four new tenants with signed leases for his Pleasant Crossing Commons development in the next month.
Pleasant Crossing Commons, on South Pleasant Crossing Boulevard in Rogers, is anchored by the 60,000-SF Burlington Coat Factory, which recently opened.
Sitton said Burlington officials are pleased with how business has gone.
“It’s a great regional location,” Sitton said. The four prospective incoming tenants, which Sitton declined to name, would fill the remaining 55,000 SF of phase one of the Pleasant Crossing Commons development.
He said he expected construction on the build-to-suit spaces would begin in March.
“We’re very pleased,” Sitton said. “Things don’t always go exactly how you plan them. The market has really come back. There’s a lot of tenants who want in.”
Sitton bought the approximately 30 acres for $4.3 million in April of this year.
He said a total of 250,000 SF is available for development, which includes the 115,000 of phase one.
“We’re going to build as fast as we can with the right tenants,” Sitton said.
